The service
The Global Impact Investor Database, operated by Artha Networks, provides access to a classified database of capital allocators and the people within them. Access is by subscription; the plan you are on determines how many contacts you may reveal, how much data you may export and whether you may use the API.
Acceptable use
- Use the data to research and contact organisations for legitimate capital-raising, allocation or partnership purposes.
- Do not resell, sublicense or redistribute the data, in whole or in part.
- Do not attempt to extract the database in bulk, whether through the interface, the API or otherwise. Reveal limits are a contractual term, not only a technical one.
- Do not use the data to send unsolicited bulk email. Sending to a contact you revealed is your responsibility, and your legal basis for doing so is yours to establish.
- Do not share credentials or API keys outside your workspace’s seat allowance.
Data accuracy
We publish the freshness, completeness and verification status of every record and make no warranty beyond what those fields state. A record marked stale is stale; a record marked pattern has never been confirmed. Use those signals. We do not accept liability for outreach based on data whose stated status you chose to disregard.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Usage allowances reset on the first of each calendar month and do not roll over. A contact revealed is charged once and remains available to your workspace permanently, including after downgrade. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period, and we do not refund partial periods.
Network partnerships
Where access is provided through a partner network, these terms apply to the member in addition to the network’s own terms. Member directory data supplied by a network remains under that network’s control and is never resold.
Termination
We may suspend an account that breaches the acceptable use terms above, in particular any attempt at bulk extraction or redistribution. Where a breach is inadvertent we will contact you first.
Changes
We will give 30 days’ notice of any material change to these terms or to plan limits affecting an active subscription.
Who you are contracting with, and governing law
The service is operated by Artha Networks. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s place of establishment, and the service is offered for professional and business use rather than to consumers.
Personal data
Where you reveal a contact, you become an independent controller of that person’s data and are responsible for your own lawful basis for contacting them. Our privacy notice explains ours, and anyone can remove their details at any time.
